Do you have an inspiring or favorite quote to share?

I'll start with three quotes from the very inspiring Helen Keller as noted in "Your Year of Healing" book by Amit Sood, MD:

"Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it."

"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched -- they must be felt with the heart."

"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much."

I liked that. it speaks real facts. My favorite quote for those you give advice too or try to help but they don't act on it is: You can lead a horse to the water but you can't make em drink it. True facts 💯

True! And a good related quote is:

"The best way to succeed in life is to act on the advice we give to others."

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

I don't collect quotes by many famous people, but I do remember the lessons I learned from these "common men" and others like them.

I really enjoy Maya Angelou’s writing. Her books I find interesting and earthy.
A well known quote of hers is “If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude!”
My favorite is “People will forget what you said. And people will forget what you did. But people will never forget how you made them feel.”

One of my favorites is "Courage does not always roar. Sometimes it is simply the quiet voice at the end of the day that can only manage to whisper 'I will try again tomorrow'".
