Do doctors know how to titrate off Lyrica and Cymbalta?

99% of doctors do NOT know how long it really takes to safely get off Cymbalta or Lyrica. I’ve heard they wean you off in 2 weeks. WRONG! This could cause severe brain side effects. Doctors do not even understand how these psychotropic drugs REWIRE your brain. Cymbalta and Lyrica need 6 months to a year to get off with very gradual titration. Google on internet how to do it. Never go cold turkey!

If you need information about tapering off Cymbalta, there is a Facebook support group that can help. It's called "Cymbalta Hurts Worse". As said in this post, there are also articles on-line about it.
