Do any seniors have atonic epilepsy?

I have head drop epilepsy and my neck is starting to hurt. Does anyone else experience this? My EEG was normal. How else is this definitively diagnosed. Was diagnosed 10 years ago with other types of seizures as well as this. Was mostly seizure free for 10 years. Only had a few breakthrough seizures intermittently. The atonic seizures started again six months ago. They happen quite frequently.
