Diverticular disease and wheat sensitivity
Is there research involving the presence of wheat sensitivity with diverticular disease? I'm wondering how common it is for people with the disease to have issues digesting wheat. Thanks, thanks, for your insights.

Hi @karyn23 - you might run a search for any publications on this topic in Google Scholar. Just type "Google Scholar" into any browser and click on it, then perform your search.
Do you have trouble digesting wheat? Do you have diverticular disease?

1 ReactionSo sorry for my way too slow reply. Thank you @lisalucier and @peterose. My question has to do with all the unknowns involved with GI illnesses, so I was wondering if food sensitivities are involved with DD (diverticular disease). I asked about wheat (all kinds, white and whole grain) because that seems to be a common sensitivity in the general population. Was wondering how common it is with DD. My searches have come up empty - thanks for the Google Scholar idea - totally forgot about that resource!
