Digestive issues and can't get pancreatic cancer out of my mind

Posted by diamondback2k9 @diamondback2k9, Apr 4, 2025

I have been dealing with Chronic diherra.
I had my appendix removed and got put on Creon which had cleared up by diaherra issues. All of blood work has been normal expected my Total Protein which is slightly elevated at 8.3. Reviewing my past test its always been higher. My bilirubin levels are normal but I have noticed they are slowly increasing every time besides one. I have at CT scan and everything was normal. I can't get panarctic cancer out of mind even though my Dr. said I am okay. I typically do not drink at all but two days before my test I did have quite a bit on a night out. Im wondering if this could have elevated my Protein and Billirbrin test? I have been feeling great since every starting Creon and getting back to my normal weight. Not sure if I should worried or not? I generally feel well

I am still having a issues with this and Im having a rough week. I recnetly had an MRI to specifially look at the pancears and it came back all clear. Also had a follow MRI due to a non-related issue and the pancears came back all clear. What are the odds that all these scan are missing something? I still feel like junk and Im slowly getting to the end of my rope with this.

Just want to give a quick update here. I was given an acid blocker to take in the morning and most if not all of my stomach pain is gone and I'm having no back issues either after that. My Dr does want to do an endoscopy so will complete that test and see how things are going. Bowel movements are seeming getting better slowly as well.

Did they check your Lipase levels and CA19-9? If those are ok that should put your mind at rest at least for pancreatic cancer.

@joyful23 Thaks for responding! I am still fighting what ever this. I actually had an MRI that found a small kidney cancer that was a grade 2 CCRC. This was ultimatly remove via surger about 3 months ago. My stomach issues were gone at that point. Woot woot! However they started to return last week. I have an EUS scheudled now for next week but nerves are all but gone.
