Diet?

Posted by kjs831 @kjs831, Jul 24 4:21pm

Has anyone found any relief by changing their diet? It's so confusing because one site will say "eat yogurt because it's good for the bacteria in your gut." Then another will say "don't eat yogurt because most Fibro patients have IBS-D." Eat Organic, don't eat organic because they are still sprayed with pesticides, eat gluten free, don't eat gluten free. My head is spinning

kjs831, Hey there! I try and eat high protein, some complex carbs and a few simple carbs. We need carbs.

Sugar is not our friend as it causes inflammation. Also, try not to do a lot of caffeine....it aggravates fibro.

Keep moving as much as possible.

Praying for you & I understand. Blessings.....(31 year Fibro sufferer)

Talk with your Doctor. Do a food diary as to what you are eating and see if there is any change in how you are feeling. Everyone is different. What works for one person may not work for the next person.
I do feel eating protein, vegetables and fruit is good for everyone. Stay away from highly processed foods.
I do believe in organic foods. They are clean as far as I know. No chemicals, have not been mechanically altered with other plants.
Wishing you the best
