Anyone who had prostate surgery experience penis length shortening?
I am scheduled for prostate removal on August 28th. I have heard that some men lose length in their penis due to the reattachment of the bladder and urethra which pulls the penis into where the prostate use to be. I have heard over time the bladder will drop into that space and you regain your length. I was hoping anyone who has experienced this could share their story. I also bought a pump hoping that post surgery that might help as well.

It is strange to have an uncircumcised penis after having been circumcised since birth! It occurred because of sever penis shrinkage after meds for enlarged prostate and a prostatectomy. But glad to be cancer free!

1 ReactionI had a prostatectomy in October 25. Surprising that the doctors don’t inform you about you penis shrinking! I did a lot of reading before and knew about it but even my reading gravely underestimated how much shrinkage would occur!
I alway had a large penis that I took pride in so this affected me more than most guys. I had always measured and knew I was 7.5 inches hard but also 7.5 inching around which is a huge girth! My wife used to actually complain I was “ too big”.
I knew from reading that the maximum shrinkage would max out 10 days after surgery. I think my shrinkage was more extream because I also had an enlarged prostate and took finestride for a year and a half before my prostatectomy!
I knew I hung 6 inches on soft. The tenth day after surgery I measured 2 inches soft and of course it never gets hard now!
It has been a physical and emotional adjustment for me!
As recommended my wife and I have tried to remain connected by having sex using toys and a dildo! For her not me! But this last Saturday after using toys she confessed that she had gotten so Horney to have a real penis in her! Kinda surprised me but then again it has been 7 months! I know it causes strange cravings in me as well. If any one in a similar situation has answers please let me know!
