Diarrhea with an Ostomy? Should I not have a reversal?

I now have a very liquid output. Will that be the same if I have surgery for a reversal? I haven't seen a surgeon yet? Should I even bother? My surgery was done in another country so I can't ask the surgeon who did the surgery. I don't have a sigmoid anymore.

Well, I have my surgery date for my reversal. Feb. 9th. I will have colonoscopy first to see if everything is okay. Same surgeon! Surgery is next day after colonoscopy, so only have one prep. Wonderful thought!

My bowel movements depend on what I eat or if I have some sort of stomach ailment. I just don't worry about it, but to have to keep aware of the ostomy pouch filling up. Regardless, definitely talk to the gastroenterologist about you condition.
