Diagnosed with a chronic pain condition. Now what?
I feel a little lost and confused and I don't have anyone who has done this before who can help me. I'm glad the diagnosis isn't anything with a fatal prognosis but idk what I'm supposed to be doing now? I'm not talking about what specialist to see or just how to manage pain or what part of my health to prioritize.
I wanna know how life is supposed to work when I'm stuck living with this for who knows how long? And if something crazy helps your pain please share I'm kinda desperate.

Since I am not a Dr this isn’t medical advice, yet what I would do is I’d start with cleaning up my diet. Eating a lot of fruits and vegetables and drinking only water, tea, and black coffee. I’d also add in a fiber boost, whether it’s gummy, pill, or drink. Consult your Dr who prescribed the pills and maybe they will prescribe a pill like movantik,

I'm home now. They had to keep me for 2 days as my BP was kind of up and down. All good now. They basically put two screws into each joint to stabilize the pelvis, SI.joints, and in turn the Sacrum.
Doc said it went really well. My Hamstrings are on fire but that's all the "fallout" I'm getting.
Did you figure out how we can chat without everyone else joining in?
@pack11 Good morning, thank you for the surgery update. Has you doctor mentioned taking Lyrica for the nerve pain in your legs? It worked great for me, so I would recommend it unless your doctor has a reason why not to.
I also sent you a private message. Go to your Profile and Settings by selecting your account in the top right corner (next to the envelope symbol), then select messages, and it should be there.
I unfortunately am allergic to Lyrica
