Depression and insomnia treatment

Posted by iceborg94 @iceborg94, Sep 9, 2023

Good morning,

I suffer from depression and insomnia.

A psychiatrist prescribed me Oxcarbazepine(Oxcarbamazepine), Quetiapine, Aripiprazole (Abilify), Alprazolam, Lormetazepam, Tavor and Minias to use simultaneously every day.

I wanted a generic answer: can the drugs in question be used together every day or could there be any harm?

I would appreciate it if I were not told to refer to my psychiatrist as I would like a scientific answer regarding the plausibility of the combination and whether there is any risk in a generic non-specific case.

Best regards

iceborg,
You might try entering all of your drugs on the site below and see if any drug interactions come up. Also, maybe you should discuss this with your primary care doctor and see what he/she thinks?

Try speaking to a pharmacist. Also there are psychopharmacologists who check this out. Good luck
