Deep debilitating joint pain & fatigue

Hi all! I’m kind of at a loss of where to go next and wanted to come here for thoughts or direction. I currently have a handful of diagnoses, but the ones most relevant here will likely be Crohn’s disease and hEDS. I’m on Skyrizi to manage my Crohn’s and it’s been generally well managed (I still have GI symptoms due to a recent gastroparesis diagnosis).

I’ve been experiencing flares of severe joint/bone pain that is accompanied by added malaise. My skin and face also gets very red and hot - like bright red, almost sunburn like on my face, upper arms, and around my thighs and knees. These flare ups are worse at night and greatly impact my sleep. I haven’t been able to have a doctors appt during one of these flares as they rarely happen earlier in the day.

I’ve ran through so many tests, especially autoimmune tests, and mostly everything has been negative accept a slightly elevated ESR and elevated CRP intermittently. I have osteoarthritis in my knees and hips (I also have very bad hips and had hip dysplasia & femoral deformities that required surgery. I’ve had 5 hip surgeries thus far). I’m a 27 year old female and my quality of life has plummeted.

Any ideas what could cause flares of redness and hot skin, with deep joint pain and body aching? Doctors have of course pondered fibromyalgia, but the typical pressure points aren’t majority sensitive for me (mostly just the pressure points around the knees are sensitive), and I’m not sensitive to light touch.

Have you looked up the side effects of Skyrizi? Some of your symptoms are listed under the side effects of
taking Skyrizi.

Praying you can get relief. Blessings....

Have you been tested for lupus? It's one of the autoimmune diseases that can cause widespread pain and fatigue, and is often characterized by what is called a "butterfly" rash on the face (redness in the shape of a butterfly). I hope it's not, for your sake, but just a thought. Whatever it is, I hope you find relief!
