Dealing with ED.

Can anyone tell me the cost of a penal implant? Sidenifil (Viagra) and Cialis (tadadefil) are not working for me anymore.

Yes, I am happy with the implant and glad that I had the procedure done. For me I think it was more of a psychological than physical need. I just wish I had made the decision much sooner, younger, maybe at the onset of ED. However back then I had no idea what was going on and ED wasn't even in my vocabulary. It is still a difficult topic. Some would rather admit they have leprosy than ED.

Good to hear .. I'm kind of getting mixed signals from my Dr's since I go to a university for care. I'm not really happy with the quality of care ..ease of getting answers etc .. I'm not much on smoke and mirrors or bland answers that are subject to interpretation. I'm doing the shots with no results and know the next step would be an implant but trying to decide who I should trust to do the surgery is my next step.

@srctic22
I live close to Mayo and it appeared that they had several urologists who maybe specialized in doing implants. I did a little bit of uneducated research and picked one. There were no mixed messages, maybe because I had already made the decision. Only OK, pick a date. Literaly that easy. Of course there were info packets, pre-op and post-op etc.
You don't want an intern or rookie. Find a clinic and DR who have done many.

Yes no interns .. I'm going to have to have a conversation with my Dr. on that one since it is a teaching hospital that I'm going to ..

Tried viagra,cialis and now Levitra....all seemed to work, but the side effects are really tough to handle. Excessive headache, flushed/red face and nasal blockage. Is there anyway to diminish these side effects, it's really a painful price to pay for intimacy.

Took all of them for years .. never found a way not to get or lessen side effects .. eventually had to go to the penile injections which ended up not working ...only thing left is an implant ...thank goodness the pills are still working for you ..

I used the PDE5 drugs too but without success. I never had any side affects from them.
I use trimix injections which works in a few minutes. The only side effect is in my wallet, $30 per injection.
