CTX too high/Actonel

Hi,
Wondering of anyone has experienced this. I was on Evenity for 12 monhts. Had terrible back pain after each injection. T-scores improved some. DId not want to take Reclast and started Alendronate. CTX score after 6 months is too high 576. Doctor suggested Prolia, I did not want another injection or infustion due to side effects. I am now on Actonel, trying for a couple months to see if CTX improves, Anyone experience this with CTX. Thoughts?

Did you have a baseline CTX before starting any bone meds?

@rjkesal123, i haven't used any bisphosphonates but have read quite a bit about them. It does look like alendronate didn't bring your bone turnover (as indicated by marker CTX) down as much as typically expected. Switching to risedronate (Actonel) is interesting as it tends to be a bit less potent than alendronate at suppressing bone turnover.

Hope you have better luck with Actonel!
