CRPS and Nevro SCS

I fell on the ice in 2018, after which I had Rotator Cuff surgery, developed CRPS and had surgery again for frozen shoulder. This last surgery was one year ago. My pain doctor has suggested a Nevro Spinal Cord Stimulator. I have not been able to find much information and articles about the success of of SCS for upper extremity with CRPS. I am also looking for the ability of increased function. Does anyone have any insight on this?

I have a SCS for CRPS of lower extremity and love it if that helps at all

Thank you for replying! What kind of SCS do you have? Are you still on pain medications?

If pain becomes chronic, I recommend Mayo's Pain and Rehabilitation Program.

Yes, it is chronic. It’s been over two years. I am a patient at the pain clinic in Rochester. I am looking for information from people that have CRPS in their arm, and has a SCS. I would like their feedback.

@gracie2018 If you look back from posts starting a year or so and before that there is a lot of info for you on the Nevro SCS

Am I correct in assuming that someone from out of town (not MN, FL) would pay their travel, housing/hotels, food for 3 weeks during the rehab program, in addition to the cost of the program? And then again to return for possible follow up?

REPLY

Yes you pay for your own travel and stay

Thank you for your reply. Do you have any idea of overall program cost?
