CRP LEVELS @ 23.4! Should I be worried? Does anyone know about high CR

My CRP levels are @ 23.4 and keep going up. Last month was 18.4, month before was 14.9. My Dr office's lab has the normal range being UNDER 5. My Dr office has many students doing their residency and seem to poo-poo it but I know my body and know something is wrong. Plus all I have read tells me it is something to be concerned about. Can anyone tell me anything about their experience with high CRP levels and what diagnosis, if any, caused severely high CRP levels? Please help me bc I am extremely concerned and have a 5yr old son who I need to be around for and need to be healthy for.

@bglisson - I would find a new doctor that would listen to me and evaluate your lab work. What are you symptoms.
