Could Husband in lymphoma treatment be suffering from chemo brain

My 72 YO husband has been in treatment (first, monoclonal antibody infusions, now ventoclax) for 8 months. Suddenly he is agitated, critical and isolating for day after day). Could this be chemo brain? Should I try to get him to doctor? What questions should I be asking? Thanks.

I should have mentioned that his treatments are for Stage 3 Low Grade lymphoma.

I would think it could be brain fog from the change in meds or it could be depression from a reaction to his condition and loss of health. You could start by asking the doctor in charge of his medication what he thinks, explaining what you are seeing and when it started. If your hospital has social workers, that could be a next step for you to take your concerns or for your husband to talk with. I would check on the medication first because they can cause all kinds of reactions. Good luck.

I see that ventoclax can cause extreme fatigue so that could be a factor in how he feels and acts. It always helps to find an explanation for how one feels so they don’t blame themselves or others for it.
