Copper Deficiency vs something else
I was told I have Copper Deficiency 9 years ago. Hospitalized in 2023 for a total OP/IP 10 IV units. Got better relatively. Numbers are unusually low and they said “your numbers run abnormally low but are really higher.” Fast Forward today after years of supplements, now crashes again and going into Round 2 of IV Copper treatments with questions on Doctors minds “ is this really something else?” See a specialist Tuesday. I inherited one ceruloplasmin error protein from one parent “which means this shouldn’t be happening.” Labs are all over the map. Not asking for diagnosis - leaving that to the Specialists - but as this is rare - here’s a shot in the dark - has anyone else encountered this before?
Thanks, admeliora
