Conflicting between two specialist doctors sat to pseudonyms treatmen
My lung specialist advised I would be having a two week IV treatment (cyprofloxin) for my newly discovered pseudomonas. I was also referred to an infectious disease doctor that suggested not treating me. Even though only a scant was found he didn’t want to treat me as fear of antibiotic resistance. He also didn’t think it would do anything so was questioning my lung specialist. He would only treat me if I was feeling unwell. I haven’t felt great since I was diagnosed ones with MAC 2 years go and that is now gone.
Has anyone else had this happen to them and what was the outcome?

The only oral meds for Pseudo I am aware of are Cipro and Levo. Is that what you are referring to? There are quite a few IV options. Are you resistant to any of the IV options?
@irenea8 first IV med I had reaction.
A rash all over my torso. It was cefepime. When the rash cleared up, they put me on Fortez.
