CKD 3a recently diagnosed. Posted previously on skin itch which is part of the problem. Having issues with sleep. Is this a symptom of CKD?

I take Melatonin, minimum dose and I’m out in about 10 minutes for 5 or 6 hours. Would like to add another 2 hours but don’t want to increase the dose. Probably should check with MD. JackB

@05271935 I used Melatonin for years and it worked. I some how developed PTSD not from the Melatonin so don.t worry about that but the Melatonin made my dreams violent nightmares and ended up in the Hospital twice because of the injuries I sustained from the dreams so I stopped using it. My wife still takes it with no problems.

Thanks for sharing what works for you. Anyone have a child that sleeps with them:) Part of my issue. Do not sleep next to my husband anymore, but getting sleep is so critical. I just got a massage and that help so much!

Both my wife and I take Magnesium Glycinate. It has helped us both sleep much more soundly.
