I waited 5 years after surgery to start thinking of an erection. My wife was sick and I just thought those days were done. I went to Mayo after 5 years and followed up on what I needed to do. Dr gave me cialis 20mg to try with arousal and suggested I take a daily dose of 5mg to see if I could get my night time erection back. I had not been having one. This morning wood is apparently important for blood flow and keeping everything healthy. The daily dose has helped with restoring some life. The 20mg before sex has not had the desired effect. It has some life that comes and goes and is not stiff enough for penetration. Dr switched me to trimix. He started me on a trial dosage of 5 units. Said I could go up to 40. The trial dosage has worked. About a 2.5hr erection. I have noticed the penis is not quite as full as I remember. I have also noticed some shortening that has been discussed. The trimix erection is not based on arousal and lasts thru an orgasm. I have not experimented with the dosage. A more healthy woody would be nice but at the expense of lasting longer is probably not worth it. Thats if dosage would help at all. The Dr showed me an implant if this did not work but the switch is about the size of one my testicles. Seems it might get crowded in there if I add an AUS device. (forgot to add) Dr said that You should not take them both. There is some concern if your erection lasts more than 4 hours. Instructions say go to emergency if it does not reduce. I would think you would adjust your trimix rather than take them both. I do take my 5mg daily on trimix days. Doesnt seem to hurt anything.

I am starting to get partial erections on the 20mg, also nocturnal erections seem to be coming back. Injections work with relatively low doses, but my impression is that Bimix decays quickly once the vial is open.

@topf I think it can go bad but Dr told me the trimix goes bad quickly. It has to be kept refrigerated. Someone on this site recommend freezing. So I make up 10-15 shots and then freeze them and the vial. Bimix may have a shelf life but doesnt need refrigerated. Freezing would probably help. I have had my Trimix refrigerated for 7 months. Still working. Someone had said they tried the trimix without keeping refrigerated and still worked. So I tried one injection 4 days without refrigeration and it worked the same. The other two chemicals must do the job. Also vial is open? you mean the metal tab and needle marks? I think its still pretty sealed that way.

@tuckerp Bimix apparently also needs refrigeration. That is at lesst what I was told. I asked about feezing but they told me not to. I also traveled an the pouch they sold me is completely useless, so I assume that is part of it. At first I got an erection with a minimal dose, but after six weeks I only get a partisl erection with three times the amount.

@guyrm yes. I take daily cialis 10 units daily to rehab my penis from the shrinkage I experienced. I take Tri mix to get a strong errection and it works I take 50 units of tri mix and yes it works well!
