chronically elevated troponin

Posted by cstreibeck @cstreibeck, Mar 19 5:09am

I have had chronically elevated troponin since Feb 2023. i had 2 minoca nstemi and my troponin levels have never went back to baseline. they are 90 then 320 then 160, etc. I have coronary vasospasms and a myocardial bridge but these conditions shouldn’t cause high troponin constantly. my drs are stumped as they’ve never had a a patient whose troponins don’t go
down . Always worried

Please see a Cardiologist to help you with that. I had high troponin level with feet and leg swelling and the Cardiologist fixed my problem that took months of diet, moderate exercise and medicine.

I have three different cardiologists and none of them have any clue what’s going on as my levels should have went down by now. i have had a cardiac mri, coronary angiogram, echos etc. what was your issue?

I had heart failure for eating too many cheaps (the salt almost killed me) my legs and feet were swelling for 4 days in a row. I went to the emergency room, changed my diet (no salt at all) and my troponin was normal after 3 days.
