Hello ! how are you all
i have a problem since 2 years and half , suddenly felt nauseating and i want to vomit so i went to the w/c and i thought its normal , but the nausea still with me !
so i went to an internal doctor and he Gave me anti-nausea ( domby ) + ppi he said it could be GERD so i took them for like 8 month and nothing happened still ( nausea ) , i went to gastroenterology and i did Endoscopy and everything was fine ! i dont know what is happeneing to me
then the Doctor said maybe u have a psycological problem , so i went to the psychiatry and the DR Gave me anti-deppression med`s .. actually after 1 month i felt good ! the nausea disappear and i was telling me SELF thanks GOD ! im BACK !
and i kept using it for 9 month then the DR said lets stop it by lowering the Dose becuase u are fine now .. so i was happy now 3 month since i stoppped the Medicine ,, the Nausea Came BACK again .. the Same way it was before ..

and there is a lot of gurgles and voices its like small burbs , upper the esophugus , and sometimes i feel like someone holding my NECK and if someone touched my neck i`ll Vomit immediatlly ;(

i really dont know what to do ,, i cant Work sometimes i feel i just want to stay HOME all the time i cant meet ppl cuz when someone see me they think that my reaction to them like im nauseating from them .. but its not !!!

is there anyone who is suffering like that and what he or she did to treat this ;(

thanks for reading

Hello @darweshalassi, and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. It must be so stressful to have these symptoms, but no diagnosis!
I'd like to invite into this discussion more members who’ve talked about digestive issues, and who can perhaps speak to psychological issues and whether they have had any physical manifestations such as the chronic nausea you are experiencing.
Please meet @peabody88 @legallyred @jacque6977 @jlfisher56 @bobbiejean @melaniewa @lighthouseceliac @jeffreysgirl13 @astaingegerdm @pamshil58.

I’d also encourage you to go through some of these discussions on Connect:
– Small Intestine Bacteria Overgrowth (SIBO) https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/small-intestine-bacteria-overgrowth/
– Somatic Symptom Disorder SSD https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/somatic-symptom-disorder-ssd/
– Functional Neurological Disorder https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/functional-neurological-disorder/

From what you’ve shared, @darweshalassi, it seems the antidepressant worked; have you considered going back to the psychiatrist?

I had something very similar to this .Did the PPI and have gerd , still do. I was nauseated all od the time. Nothing showed up on ct scan.I think it was the ultra sound that finally did the trick. Found out it was my gallbladder. They said it was dieaseaded . Had it removed and I have not been nauseated since.

@darweshalassi – I had a few months of constant nausea at one point- I understand how miserable you must be. I finally saw GI at Mayo again. The thought was that it was caused by GERD. At the visit I also got Rx for Zofran for nausea. It worked very well and I would take it in the morning before getting out of bed. It wasn’t long before I could do without it.
Another thought- antidepressants helped you- SSRI ( serotonin reuptake inhibitor) I assume since that is most common nowadays. Our GI tract also likes serotonin- who knows how the antidepressant helped you. However, I suggest you also ask your doctor if you can try Zofran.
