changes in penis appearance

has anyone experienced a lot of thick fleshy penis shaft skin, a wide shaft, and the skin covering the glans, hanging down making it so difficult to stand and urinate ?

I also have drastc changes, some length loss, there's mostly a huge widening and shaft thickening a hanging all around glans, extensive testicle size loss and scrotum lengthening and flesh loosening

Thanks for the input. I am still trying to find out if the majority of these changes to your penis was due to a prostatectomy? I have not been told these issues would happen with Brachy Radiation?

I am meeting with both a Surgeon and a Radiologist at Moffit Cancer Center (Center of Excellence) in Tampa this Wednesday and will specifically ask this question. I have been told that focal therapy is not recommended as a first line treatment, but again I will ask.

I only had radiation and ADT and also experienced changes, so they don't seem to be unique to prostatectomy.

I did not have a prostatectomy. I had radiation therapy and ADT - as a result I have experienced major changes with my penis and testicles as previously described. Neither my urologist nor radiation oncologist discussed this with me prior to treatment.
Good luck with your meetings.

Two items -- neither my surgeon for the RP else warned me about losing two inches in length and the penis basically retracting into my body.

And a pump and pills did nothing to restore length.

Cancer 18 months later is undectable but then so is my sex life.

Ugh.. EBRT or Brachy and do your Drs think this had to do with the radiation or the ADT?

I think penis shrinkage is due to the prostatectomy, I experienced it following surgery and the Lupron and radiation definitely added to it

that sounds unique, narrowing at the base, you would think it would widen at the glans, its depressing for all of us to accept our penis and scrotum changes, but were still vertical, are picture sending allowed ?
