Change In Septum Color

My Mom has Bronchectasis. Her sputum has changed from yellow to a little green. What does this mean?

Check with her pulmonologist. That could indicate infection. Green is never a good sign.

When that happens to me I increase my airway clearance, then watch a bit. I contact pulmonary if I start to feel ill and/or the sputum amount increases and sputum darkens etc.

Also drink more fluids to thin out mucus, and as others stated, check to see if there are other symptoms, fever, rash, pain, swelling, etc. And check with Dr.
