central retinal vein occlusion

Had my 3rd injection of Anti-vegE today. Amazingly painful afterwards. On the plus side, the doc has said the swelling is significantly reduced. On the minus side, he said there wasn't anything which could be done to actually destroy the clot. Said my sight should not degrade further but it also won't get better. He's going to make the intervals between shots longer and try a stronger medicine next time. He said I will be getting injections the rest of my life but not monthly.
