CBD Vaping Found to Injure Lung Tissue

Posted by jenatsky @jenatsky, Mar 9, 2023

I just came upon a small study by a cancer institute in N.Y. that performed a study with mice comparing the effect of nicotine oil vs. CBD oil vaping. This is a first of its kind to study this and for those of us who obtain some or all of their CBD by vaping will want to read this study I’ve attached. I’m going to cease my vaping of cannabis products with CBD and get my CBD from tincture as a result of this study. I know from my research that vaping cannabis THC oil alone does not have a negative lung effect for people with healthy lungs. https://www.roswellpark.org/newsroom/202302-vaping-cbd-causes-more-severe-lung-damage-vaping-nicotine-roswell-park-study-shows

Vaping is really bad for you. I make edibles, balms & topicals.

Vaping CBD is most likely harmful according to the Roswell study. Cannabis THC has shown not to negatively effect lung tissue.

Welcome @sharonbeelime, sorry to hear that your husband hasn't found much relief for his spinal stenosis. I think @jenatsky mentioned in another discussion that he uses a combo of THC/CBD tincture 25mg each 3x daily for pain with pretty good results and may be able to tell you more about how to purchase it.

@sharonbeelime thank you John for the hype. After much experimenting with both high THC and CBD and variations in between I found that micro-dosing the combo best. I didn’t try looking into CBD alone for pain control though, but I know studies have been done to verify this. I hope you can open these in the UK and if not please let me know so I can change the delivery method?
