Candida

Does anyone have any information on how medical doctors treat Candida? Are there any tests that can be run?
Are their medications that work?

Hello @ggauerke,

Welcome to Connect. Candida is a fungus typically found in small amounts in the mouth and intestines and on the skin. When Candida begins to grow uncontrollably, it can cause an infection known as candidiasis. You can read more details here:
https://www.cdc.gov/fungal/diseases/candidiasis/index.html
@ggauerke, would you be able to share a few more details? What symptoms are you experiencing? Since symptoms of candidiasis vary depending on the area of the body that is infected, may I ask what type of candidiasis are you concerned about?
