Can you take tymlos and prolia
Anyone on tymlos and prolia or switched to tymlos after prolia? I still have 3 months of prolia in me and 3 weeks ago started tymlos. New dr new everything and I don't know whether to trust her or not. I had 6 compression Fractures when I was off prolia for 3 months due to insurance. Will this happen again or will tymlos be a replacement. I also read tymlos doesn't work well after prolia??? She also says no need for blood test that I read lots of people have. No need for follow up dexa. How do I know is working?

I'm trying to find one but my spine Dr told me limited supply, long wait times , and then they may not know osteoporosis.
I was on Prolia for 2 years. During that time I had a fractured femur, fractured tibia/mallelous and fractured patella. After the last 2 fractures in March 2023, I was referred to an op specialist in Phoenix. He started me on Tymlos as the best option. When I came home to Chicago my rheumatologist was in agreement and told me after 2 years of Tymlos back to Prolia. I finally have an endocrinologist appointment next month to determine if she will manage my op going forward and her drug choice after Tymlos
Good to know. I'm still trying to get in with a specialist
What reason did she give for taking you off of prolia
He said that I had failed Prolia. Tymlos is a different class of drug. I’ve only seen a couple of references to using Tymlos and Prolia together
Please keep me posted. I'm interested to see
Holy smokes! Failed prolia!?
That’s what the doctor said because the 2 fractures in March were both spontaneous fractures!
So very sorry
