Can pmr worsen with weather
I’ve posted before as a newly diagnosed . I’m wondering if the weather can make it worse . I live in the uk and this weekend it has been very rainy and damp and my pmr has been really bad . Today when the weather is better I feel so much better
I am tapering from 15mg to 12.5 mg and could be just a withdrawal affect

My PMR is almost always worse in cold damp weather without a doubt.
@anncoco57, I think weather can have an impact if you have PMR. You might want to read through the following discussion to learn what other members have shared.

Weather itself doesn't affect my PMR, but being able to move around does, and in cold rainy weather I don't get outside to move around. The drop from 15mg to 12.5mg could definitely be temporarily causing more aches/pain. Hopefully it gets better shortly.
