Can noise reduction affect voice recordings used for ENT visits?
I’ve been recording changes in my voice to discuss with my ENT, but my phone also picks up fan noise and room ambience.
I tried VoiceCleaner AI to reduce the background noise. The result is easier to hear, but I’m concerned that processing might also change details such as raspiness or breathiness.
Would it be better to keep both the original and cleaned recordings for my appointment? Has anyone used noise reduction when tracking voice changes?
