@missy10 California serogroup (CSG) viruses include many viruses. Many do not develop symptoms, but it sounds like you unfortunately developed encephalitis, inflammation of the brain. @arnoldee @sleepapnea2021 experienced encephalitis with West Nile virus and may have experiences to share.

Missy, how are you being treated? How are you doing?

Thank you for responding me. I’ve been struggling for three years with constant trembling in my arms which are not visible. This usually dissipates in the evening. I still have poor balance. I have a visible right hand tremor which I can control. Proprioception skills are not back to normal. I walk with no fluidity and have a audible toe slap when I walk with shoes . Really the worst symptom is the almost unbearable trembling.

My neurologist has been treating me with Carbidopa/Levadopa because she calls my symptoms “Parkinson’s “ like. She also just weaned me off Clonezpam. Nothing is helping the trembling which is really debilitating me. I’m not complaining because I got so much back. I’m just desperate to find someone who can help me. Thank you so much for your response to my question.
