Budesonide during taper from prednisone

I have COPD, asthma, possible Mac. When I have flares, I go on prednisone, but it is causing me other problems. My doctor has advised me to nebulize budesonide while I taper off if I'm still tight. Is anyone using this?

I have asthma/ copd, and my doc said I shouldn’t use prednisone more than twice per year. I have used it about 7 times this year. Doc told me to try dupixent. 3 days after my first dose, i felt better! 2 weeks later, i took my 2nd dose and no more “wheezing “. I take my 3rd dose on Thursday. You might want to ask your doctor about Dupixent? Good luck!
