Yes I have had two MRI on my back. First one showed 52% now it’s 63%. My primary Dr gave me 2 choices surgery or Pt. I have been doing Pt but doesn’t seem to be doing anything. Yesterday I power washed my outdoor sheds and now I’m in a lot of pain. Thanks for listening

@sherry44 didn't you go to an Orthopedic Dr? I had a L2 fracture the Orthopedic Dr after xrays put me in a turtle shell brace for 3months for it to heal the aqua therapy for 9 months you should see this Dr not a general g.p. Go right away is my suggestion
I saw my primary doctor then the pain management doctor then the neurosurgeon. My L4 was fractured all the way through so I had no choice but surgery. It has been a rough go. They called it a complicated spinal fusion. I am very blessed to be able to function pretty well with a pain level of 2-3 most days.
I agree....nothing to compare it to! And different Dr's treat differently. I have fractured L4....some pushed PT & others said why aren't you in the huge brace. Tens unit helped some. It's been 1 1/2 years of pain..... finally has subsided unless I over do.
Don't be foolish like I was and just tough it out. I have lost 2 1/2 inches in height due to multiple spinal fractures. Wearing the back brace really helps.
I had a burst L4 compression fracture in July still dealing with pain and problems they want me to do a 3 level fusion. I went to a neurosurgeon in the twin cities. No going for a 2nd opinion as I want to get out of this turtle shell.

Broken back is really painful life!!!!
