Breast Discharge

I am a 22 year old. In December 2024, I had a biopsy of a lump I found that was diagnosed as a fibroadenoma. At some point between then and October 2025, I began having dark green discharge from multiple ducts when pressure was applied to the breast. I ended up having a few labs drawn and my prolactin was at 44.4. I had a brain MRI negative for anything. I have had repeat ultrasounds of the lump and it hasn't grown significantly. I was referred in July to a breast surgeon to potentially get it removed, but they can't even get me in for a consult until the end of December. A week ago, I noticed blood on my breast and with pressure, one duct is now having dark red, bloody discharge (the rest continue to be green). It has been constant with any pressure in the last week. I saw an OBGYN NP on Monday and they sent me to get another ultrasound since they found another lump. The ultrasound report suggests the new lump is a fibroadenoma and just to have a repeat in 6 months to make sure it hasn't grown. I also do get cyclical breast pain with my cycles that have been bad enough to wake me up at night on occasion. My NP's nurse called and her suggestion is just to wait for the surgeon's appointment at the end of December. However, this makes me uncomfortable to just basically ignore for 3 months bloody discharge that just suddenly started. I made a follow up appointment to see if she has any other ideas. I am also considering getting a second opinion since this makes me so uncomfortable. Does anyone have any ideas for other things that I suggest to providers?

I would suggest that you get a second opinion from a doctor who specializes in breast health as soon as possible.
