Blueprint to Neuropathy?

Posted by hossie @hossie, Apr 22, 2024

Has anyone tried Blueprint to Nueropathy? Apparently it is a treatment approach that is being used by many chiropractors. It's long in duration and not cheap. I am not looking for a silver bullet, just some improvement in my feet. Thanks.

What exactly is red light therapy supposed to do with neuropathy?

Supposedly increase blood flow to the feet.

Thank you so much, Will. You have given me great information. My chiropractor neurologist quoted $5000 and includes purchase of the devices for electromagnetic infrared therapy and electro stimulation as well as 90-day supply of the nutrition powder for nitric oxide. The chiropractor said he would honor the price quote for 24 to 48 hours. I was not happy with that sales tactic. Again thank you for your information. Very, very helpful.

I am highly skeptical of all these “cures.” $5000 sounds high. I was told $8400, but insurance would pay for $6000. I’ll be surprised if I see a claim on my insurance statement. Be careful with you money is my thinking. You can get nitric oxide supplements on Amazon and electro-therapy equipment on Oxiline. That may be all you need and will save you thousands.
Keep searching. I believe in you! W 😀

Agree with $$$. We didn’t go insurance route. I am on Medicare which he said does not cover, so doubt insurance covers. I am going to order all you suggested. Indeed less money. I truly appreciate your support. Means the world to me.

Red light therapy is supposed to stimulate nerve growth. I'm skeptical, but it's not expensive to find out using something from Amazon. My limited knowledge of electrical engineering makes me think that high blood sugar is "burned" up in your body and produces carbon - think marshmallow catching on fire - and carbon is a good insulator which plays havoc with electrical signals from the brain to peripheral areas. The myelin sheath around the nerves may get some damage in all that goes on.
Anyway, the TENS units may act like a wire brush to clean off the corroded battery cables from brain to toes or more likely lower back to toes.
I keep trying things and all of it seems to be helping somewhat.
I'll keep posting my progress. Today is the last day of my 12 electro-therapy and red light sessions at the "clinic."

P. S. If you get the Oxiline unit, let me know and I'll tell you where to place the electrode patches. You can do feet, then hands, but have to move the patches.
Well heck, bottoms of feet and lower back. White cable on the left and black on the right. Palms of hands and top of spine below your neck. Get some extra medium size, snap electrode patches on Amazon. They don't last for more than about 5 applications. The unit will cut off if contact is not good. No free lunch...
My best!

Has anyone enrolled in “Blueprint to Neuropathy” from chiropractor certified in neurology (advanced training) for peripheral neuropathy? Treatment plan includes electromagnetic infrared therapy, electrostimulation, and advanced nutrition therapy. I had hemidisectomy for herniated disc (July 2021) at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. Fourteen days postop developed burning, tingling of left foot. Neurologist (nonMayo) confirmed peripheral neuropathy. Now have peripheral neuropathy, bilaterally.

Hello @jrh04, I combined your discussion with an existing discussion of the same title:

"Blueprint to Neuropathy?"

@hossie started this discussion and @johnbishop provided some insight on the lack of credible research that is readily available for this treatment plan. @kingmapete tried the plan and may share their experience as well.

Most of these products that advertise help for neuropathy have been tested and approved to help reduce the size of your bank account. Please don't waste your money on something that has no real proof in science.

I think the TENS stimulation helps. I take Ibuprofen regularly and it helps a lot.

I cam believe that a TENS unit can help with some pain. Glad you only need ibuprofen to help with your pain.
