Hello @maunakea, and welcome to the Parkinson's support group on Mayo Connect. I understand your concern; these symptoms sound very uncomfortable. How long ago did the bloating and pain begin?
Do you feel that this bloating is related to Parkinson's disorder or medication?
@hopeful33250 it started mildly about a year half ago..but now my symptons are really intense. It comes on daily around 2;30..or 4;30 and intensifies around 8:30pm..could be drug related but if so, it doesn’t come on in he am when I am taking medicine…

If this has been going on for a year and a half, then you need to make your doctor aware of it and have some testing done. Has a GI doctor evaluated you for GI problems?
I look forward to hearing from you again as you find some answers. Will you continue to post as you contact your doctor?
I’ve seen a neurologist,two gastrologist,heart dr. I’ve done some testing but nobody has any answers

@louismines
Since bloating can be a symptom of a number of GI problems (food intolerance, GI cancers, medication intolerance, etc.) its important to be evaluated by a gastroenterologist to rule out the scary things and things that can be improved by avoiding certain foods, etc. However, after a thorough GI evaluation with endoscopy and colonoscopy - it became more and more apparent that the bloating I suffered was related to my autonomic nervous system failure and early PD with its slow gut syndrome. Fresh fruit and veggies were the usual culprits with bloating and abdominal pain for hours afterward UNTIL I came upon a solution. I take a probiotic ( rec by GI), and drink a daily or every other day smoothie with finely ground frozen fruit and greens. The Vitamix blender does it best. 1 cup coconut milk, 1 cup low cal yogurt, 1 heaping cup of mixed frozen fruit and greens (in frozen food section of grocery), 1 tbsp peanut butter and honey and blend thoroughly. Delicious and good for you and no bloating. Good luck.
