Best Red Light Therapy Treatment and Device

Posted by leahramsay @leahramsay, Mar 2 12:36pm

I am looking for the best red light therapy treatment and device for my muscle recovery. I have pain in my joints and bones and I am looking for relaxation and getting rid of the pain completely. Sometimes, I even have inflammation in my ankles.

I recently came across some posts talking about red light therapy for pain management and I was wondering if anyone uses it for muscle recovery.

I researched on it a bit and found out that the 810nm to 850nm wavelengths in red light therapy devices are very helpful in muscle recovery and joint pains and the 1064nm wavelength is best for deep tissue penetration.

Any thoughts on this? Any devices that you would recommend me?

I purchased mine for my gluteal tendinopathy in hips and low back. I haven't used it like I should but will look into issues where you maybe should not do it in certain areas. I bought mine from Forefront Health. I know certain facilities have rooms that are red light therapy and I could see that working for overall being. Mine is small and focuses on certain areas.

@loyd1957 i have several small area VICONOR RLT. Love them. 2 are strips that go around my ankle or shoujlder, or just use it straight across chest, stomach- and one larger stand up panel that can be mounted on table (I also just hld it 2-3 inches from chest, tummy- and I am certain it helped with a recent bad case of bronchitis. uaually takes months to clear- this time only 3 weeks! Love them. And the customer service is terrific.
