What is the best way or liquid to increase your hydration at home?

Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to increase your hydration at home… just water?

Can you handle broth? I know that sometimes it's hard to drink water if you're queasy. We met with a nutritionist who suggested broths - veggie, chicken, beef, bone. She also suggested any kind of flavored teas, and also mixing half water,/half juice, or half water/half Gatorade if that's more to your liking.

Than you for these options. Has anyone used pedialyte?

I have struggled with dehydration. Not sure what protocol you’re getting. I’m on the Folfirinox regimen. The 5FU is administered through a portable pump for 46 hours. When I return to the clinic for pump removal I get an additional IV. That helped with dehydration but not enough. After my last cycle (number 8) I went back to the clinic the following day for an additional IV. That seemed to help. I’ve also switched from water/Gatorade mix to a product called Liquid IV that one of the nurses suggested. It’s available at any of the pharmacy chains. That also seems to help. Good luck.

Thank you for your response…. I haven’t heard of Liquid IV but will check with my nurse at my next session.

My nutritionist recommended Ultima, and I ordered it last night. Most of the hydration/electrolyte drinks are too sweet for me. This has 0g sugar, natural color, natural flavor, and caffeine free. Perfect for me. I will let you know how it tastes when it comes.
