Besremi and Dermatitis
I have been taking Besremi since February. In the last couple of months I have been experiencing dry flaky skin on my face, scalp and ears. My GP gave me some steroid cream and shampoo, but after reading about the possibility of getting serious reactions after stopping steroid treatments,
I decided to try some over-the-counter products first. I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has experienced a similar side-effect from Bestemi and how they treated it. Thanks.

I searched and found this thread. I had similar but not as severe symptoms. I have itchy scalp and buttock area skin issue after taking Besremi. Anyone else has the same symptoms?
This is in reference to my post on 10/5/25 which is posted above. After using all of the cremes and shampoos my doctors prescribed and I which bought over the counter, nothing improved for several months. I went back to my dermatologist around 6 months after the onset of this condition, and he changed my diagnosis to psoriasis which is a chronic condition that requires ongoing treatment. He prescribed Skyrizi which calms down the inflammation in the immune system which may be triggered by Besremi. The first 2 doses of Skyrizi are injected 4 weeks apart, then 12 weeks apart. After the first 2 doses, the symptoms started disappearing. At my latest visit to the dermatologist the symptoms have completely disappeared, so I only need the prescription for Skyrizi refilled and get pre-approval for 2027.
I would recommend for anyone with these symptoms to consult a dermatologist to try to get the proper treatment for their condition.
