Become an Ex (Smoker): A Mayo Clinic & Truth Initiative® collaboration

We'd like to tell you about Become an Ex - a collaboration by Truth Initiative® and Mayo Clinic. Truth Initiative is America's largest non-profit public health organization dedicated to making tobacco use a thing of the past. The Mayo Clinic Nicotine Dependence Center began its partnership with Truth Initiative to launch BecomeAnEX in 2008.

BecomeAnEX is a thriving community with 800,000-plus registered participants, supporting more than 1,500 tobacco users to quit together each month. Most importantly, BecomeAnEX works. Research shows that following the BecomeAnEX quit plan quadruples a tobacco user's chance of quitting.
