Back Surgery

Has anyone had lower back discs fused? I am facing this soon and am trying everything I can to not do this. Powerful shots have stopped working. I've heard horror stories and am scared to death to do this. Anyone out there have luck and success with this surgery?

WOW I know. God knew I was home alone and on a blood thinner and I was bleeding. I was able to get up even though it hurt and call 911 and my kids.

@Yes we are so fortunate God watches over us and his angelsHope yojr feeling better this morning I slept till 9:00 Hope Im getting back to this I always worked the afternoon shift ,I hate getting up early not a morning person Did you get back to painting last night? Im going today .
