Autoimmune PAP

I just read the email from NTM Info & Research about testing for autoimmune PAP. There is a link where physicians can order a test kit (at no charge to the physician or patient).

I’ve never heard of this test before and wonder if anyone here has heard of it or had the test done? Do you know if it is available in Canada?

@kathyhg The link you posted did not work, but I was able to find this about PAP:

I think it is a great idea, if a physician and their patient are struggling with treating NTM successfully, to consider this option. At this point, I'm not sure testing should be universal. It appears PAP only affects about 6-7 of every million people, where NTM affects more like 800 out of each million. But it will be a great tool for solving those cases where standard therapies just don't work.
