Article about nebulizing without phlegm production
Who can share the link with me regarding this? Someone shared it a while back saying that it isn't good for those who do not produce phlegm? If anyone remembers please share with me. I could be completely wrong about this. Thanks!

I was at NJH this past spring. I do not produce phlegm; however, they stressed to still nebulize two times a day.
I also never produce phlegm. Not sure how nebulizing helps if not to produce it. What is the objective? I have Traction Bronchiectasis. Anyone else?
All the national guidelines suggest that we do airway clearance for bronchiectasis regardless of sputum production. Just as we don’t necessarily see food caught between our tooth when we floss, we should clear our airways even if there is no obvious phlegm.
Here is a short video of Dr. Leigh Anne Daniels from the University of North Carolina talking about airway clearance. https://youtu.be/rYjWNP9xjfU
This is one of my favorite videos of all time sponsored by NTM Info & Research. It is Dr. Pamela McShane from the University of Texas at Tyler talking about airway clearance.

Did they tell you why?
Great video! I really needed to watch it because I didn't understand airway clearance. I have not been producing much sputum for months; but will try the techniques taught in this video.
Fantastic Nancy! This is also an excellent site-
