Camping or RV parks and parking near Mayo Clinic, Arizona
I have a consultation appointment at the Phoenix Hospital next month and we are driving in for the day from out of state. We will be towing our 19 ft travel trailer with a pick up truck. It is the only way we can travel. I need to know if I can park it for the day in the north parking lot, #1 or 2, while we are in the Mayo Clinic Specialty building #2 that afternoon.

Hi and welcome to sunny Arizona, which as we enter into the Summer season is when we get very warm. But on the plus side typically temporary housing also is less expensive and more available. I actually live about 90 minutes from Mayo Phoenix so I haven't stayed in any rv parks but I do like 2 hotels that I have used when driving back and forth was tedious. So they are about 2 miles for the main Hospital and located on E Irma Lane Phoenix. One is a Holiday inn express and the other next door is The Camby of which both offered a Mayo discount. There is an onsite residents called the village at Mayo Clinic but when I tried to get in there just after transplant it was full and had a waiting list. It's the best option but in high demand..there is also a Meriott on site also but out of my price list as usually it was way over 200 a night.
Usually this time of the year could find one around 100 a night and even less once at a resident inn but that one was a bit of a drive in Lower Scottsdale and took about 20 min to drive from. The first 2 I mentioned were right next to a mall area which had some nice restaurants. Let me know if I can help with any questions. Also the Holiday in express had a free breakfast and if I asked that due to our restriction to Buffet was able to get food from the nice attend straight from the kitchen of which a few dollars tip I'm sure helped.

When will you be going to Mayo Clinic, AZ?
Hi @jillphoenixmayo Welcome to Arizona Shortly. Yes at least i see by a google search a couple of them within about 10 miles of the clinic. I personally live in Arizona, so I haven't had the pleasure of staying at any of them. But as for your question about parking for the day That I'm not sure what the policy is. There always seems to be room at the back area of a few of the parking lots. They had set-up a prescreening area during the height of the pandemic but have since taken it down so that freed up a lot of parking lot space. So maybe a call to the Numbers Colleen had a link too maybe a good Idea.
You may want to call those RV parks as soon as you can as we have entered our busy season. Usually, October is the start of when all our winter visitors start coming here from the northern area's. Here are some web pages to the ones I saw in a google search.
