Anyone with extended long Covid get Covid again? Now what?
I had long Covid since May 2022. Tons of clinical appointments go NIH/Recover programs and Northwestern.
Most issues are memory and cognitive processing. Some heart and lung stuff
I just tested positive yesterday and fortunately was given paxlovid.
Anyone have any links to research? My basic understanding is this reinfection may push my recovery backwards.
I just guessing and would appreciate any science over my speculation

Not in this case and IMO they are using urgent care in place of "on-call" docs. That is doctors are now employees and now get negotiated days off in whiuch they are not expected to take calls or fill-in for others? But whatever, if a patient goes through the trouble of running two tests, and then has moire sense to avoid going into a clinic where he could spread it, I am going to get an official policy on this as I use the same healthcare system. Glad you were able to call your doc and get a prescription. Mabe it has something to do with it being Christmas week but there should al,ways be at least a PA or someone around to send in a script for Paxlovid when a patient has tested...?
