Anyone using Milton Sterilizing Tablets?
Milton Sterilising Tablets:
Somewhere in here I read about them and so I ordered some. Does anyone use them? Can you just throw a tablet into a pot of water and throw your neb parts or Aerobika parts in to soak? I havent used baby bottle stuff, seems like just more stuff to deal with

@grammyvictoria Milton tablets do not penetrate the biofilm that surrounds mycobacteria so are not considered a reliable way to sterilize our equipment.
If you want simplicity, a saucepan and a timer have served me for MANY years. I place a round silicone trivet in the bottom to protect my gear from contact with the hot metal, and use distilled water to prevent mineral buildup. Just cover the pot after use and leave it on the back of the stove, topping off as needed to make sure the equipment is covered.
@sueinmn How long do you boil? Years ago, a PA suggested a baby bottle sterilizer, but now that MAC has reared its ugly head again for the third time….I’m changing all my protocol. We’re going right in with every day meds and Arikayce. Lots of parts and pieces to keep clean.
