Anyone use compression socks for postural hypotension?
I have low blood pressure averaging about 103/60 at the highest to 90/55 at the end of the day. When I change position like standing after sitting an extended period of time, the BP drops even more and my pulse rate suddenly increases in response. This will initiate heart palpitations and often times AFIB.
I am trying to alleviate this by wearing compression socks designed for 15-20 mm of pressure. So far it appears to help regulate my pulse and my legs feel better and stronger. Anyone else have this problem?
