Anyone tried Votrient (pazopanib)?

Votrient was suggested for my dad’s leiomyosarcoma. The side effects look pretty scary. Would appreciate feedback from people who were on it - dose and side effects if any and outcome. Tumor shrinkage?

I am so glad I came across this. I have Leiomyosarcoma and feel so alone as it’s hard to find others that have it. I was recently put on pazopanib as all the other heavy duty chemos were either not working or I hit the lifetime limit. Basically for me the hope is this will work long enough for another treatment or trial to show up on the scene. By body handles chemo exceptionally well but the tumors are not responding. On this new one the biggest issue is blood pressure is skyrocketing and they are having trouble keeping it normal and also I can not be on omeprazole alas it interacts and so my gerd is quite out of control. Otherwise, so far, very few symptoms.

@thia1125 hey I wanted to check in with you, I have leiomyosarcoma and I am getting put on Pazopanib, was wondering how this is working for you?
