Just wondering what people’s experience with naltrexone is, does it help, what dose worked best for you? My Dr. Is trying me on Low dose naltrexone and I’m curious what others experienced.

Hi there- I started taking LDN before I got long covid—for chronic pain (central sensitivity syndrome, small fiber neuropathy, POTS, and HSD). I found it helped with my fatigue, but not as much for pain of GI symptoms.
There’s a fairly detailed conversation that was started about this that may help you here: https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/ldn-dosing-for-fibromyalgia-and-mecfs/

(I’m just lazy to type it out again and I’m happy to answer questions if it would help >_
It's helping my inflammation,I'm up to about 2.5mg. I take the liquid form. Cheaper and easier for me to titrate up slowly. I get no extra flavor or stevia (I react to stevia and they automatically put it in there and don't consider it a flavor and my compounding pharmacy.)

Glad it’s working for you. That’s so interesting because the liquid formulation is much more expensive at the compounding pharmacy closest to me, but I’m glad you found something that works.
I’m taking it for long COVID along with methylene blue. I am at 1.5 mg and noticed a relief in pain in legs right away at half that dose. Dr wants to get me to 3 mg. Also increased energy which is a good thing except I tend to overdo!
What is your starting dose of LDN and what dose are you working toward for maintenance? I just started at .5 mg but had to cut back to .125 and will slowly work my way up to 4.5mg, for fibromyalgia that I believe was triggered by a Covid infection.
Yes I started it in late March, worked up from .25 to 1.25, taking it slowly, and have seen a lot of improvement. I do other things too but this has definitely helped. I am very sensitive to meds and so far, no side effects thankfully.
Are you taking the LDN for pain management, and seen improvement in that? How soon, or at what dose, did you start to notice improvement?
Yes, taking it for pain management. It started working quickly, within the first week, but I also started PT at the same time so it's a little hard to tell. I started at .25 and have slowly worked up to 1.25 and will keep going up. I feel about 80% better most days now.
I have been a long hauler since April 2022. I started LD Naltrexone 1.5 in April and after a few weeks jumped to 3.0 and then shortly thereafter 4.5. That titration was too quick for me, I was very irritable and had worse insomnia. I backed off to 3.0 which I tolerated well. I found that I have to take it at 10:00 in the morning to avoid insomnia. Just last week I have added 4.5 three times and 3.0 four times and that helps me to have slightly more energy and not as jittery or irritable. It does affect my short term memory (worse than usual) but my PEM crashes seem shorter duration.
i have found it has been great for increasing my energy.
i take it in the morning with breakfast.
it has not helped with covid tremors.
