Frankly, the steroid effect in Trilegy, is minimal and you might just have a bit of a reaction to the first few uses. I have been using it for over three years and the hardest part I found in getting used to it was rinsing and gargling properly after each use to avoid that raspy voice throughout the day. Once I figured that out, I feel the product is quite good and have never experienced any side effects.

3 ReactionsI only used Trelegy for a week. My whole body ached and I felt like I had tremors. I told my doctor and my prescription was changed to Stiolto. So far, just a week again, but I'm not shaking. This is the fourth inhaler, so I'm hoping it will be the last.

1 ReactionI’m pretty good with Trelegy. My main issue is not coughing while or shortly after taking it. I don’t get any other side effects and always rinse my mouth after taking it.

1 ReactionYes my Dr put me on that and after a few months took me off at my request. I felt no increased irritability but had no improvement in breathing so requested to return to Wixela. Significant improvement
I haven't really had any side effects with the medication.

What does Wixela do?
Wixela helps my breathing
I was on Trelegy for about 2 years. I had zero issues. About 6 months ago, my pulmonologist switched me to Stiloto Respimat, and that seems to be working as expected with no side effects. There are many different types of inhalers you could try. Definitely talk to your Doctor and let him/her know you don’t like the symptoms you are experiencing with Trelegy.
